New York University Institute for the Study of the Ancient World (ISAW) presents: "Afghanistan's Cultural Heritage: A Conference in Honor of Omara Khan Masoudi"

Workshop: May 23, 2013 | 1:00 PM - 5:00PM

"Mr. Omara Khan Masoudi will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters by New York University during the commencement exercises on May 22nd. On May 23rd, ISAW, along with NYU's Center for Ancient Studies, CNRS/NYU, Center for International Research in Social Sciences and Humanities (CIRHUS), the Center for the Study of Human Origins and the Department of Anthropology, NYU will be presenting a conference in his honor. We invite you to join us in recognizing Mr. Masoudi's extraordinary efforts to restore the National Museum of Afghanistan in Kabul."
