The 50th New York Film Festival

The Film Society of Lincoln Center is proud to present the historic 50th New York Film Festival, taking place from September 28th to October 14th. This exciting anniversary will feature fearless new films and illuminating documentaries that challenge and expand preconceived notions of cinematic art.

This year, the New York Film Festival will be presenting seventeen days of world premieres, prize-winners from Cannes, Berlin, and Venice Film Festivals, special retrospective screenings, restorations, live performances, panel discussions, and more! In celebration of this milestone event, we are thrilled to pay special tribute to Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman and the Film Society’s Program Director, Richard Peña.
