Eva Baer
(1920–2017) German-born Israeli art historian; a specialist in medieval Islamic art, particularly metalwork, iconography, ornament, and representations of the human figure. She was Professor of Islamic Art at Tel Aviv University. Major publications include Metalwork in Medieval Islamic Art and Ayyubid Metalwork with Christian Images.
