FIDIUÄG (The Herald), an Ossetic periodical. It was first edited by Kocoyti̱ Arsen (q.v.) in Cxinval, South Ossetia, in 1927, and maintained its position as the leading organ of South Ossetic intellectuals until 1991, when its publication was discontinued. It published articles on cultural and literary matters, as well as fiction and poetry.
