Martin E. Weaver
(1936–2002) a pioneering architectural conservator and scholar of historic preservation. Trained at the Architectural Association in London, he worked across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, including UNESCO missions in Iran and conservation programs for Parks Canada. He later taught at Columbia University and the University of Victoria and served as president of major conservation organizations such as ICOMOS’s Wood Committee and the Association for Preservation Technology.
