ḤOQUQ-E EMRUZ

 

ḤOQUQ-E EMRUZ, a journal published irregularly in Tehran between Esfand 1341 Š./March 1963 and 1355 Š./1976 (Solṭāni, p. 429). The last available issue of it is, however, dated Farvardin-Ordibehešt 1352 Š./April-May 1973. The publisher of the journal was Bahāʾ-al-Din Ṭabāṭabāʾi (attorney, b. 1925), and with issue no. 18 (Bahman 1345 Š./February 1967) Hāšem Purṭabāṭabāʾi (attorney, b. 1929) became its editor. The journal was usually published in forty-two, single-column pages and printed on 16.5 x 24 cm paper. Its annual subscription rate was initially two hundred rials but was increased to two hundred and fifty rials after the journal’s seventh issue. Copies of the journal can be found in the following libraries: the Central Library of the University of Tehran (Ketābḵāna-ye markazi-e Dānešgāh-e Tehrān); Majles Library I (Ketābḵāna-ye Majles I); the National Library (Ketābḵāna-ye melli); Central Library of Fārs (Ketāb-ḵāna-ye markazi-e Fārs), Shiraz; ʿAllāma Ṭabāṭabāʾi Library (Shiraz); Āstān-e Qods Library (Ketāḵāna-ye Āstān-e qods-e rażawi; Mašhad). The first ten issues of the journal can also be found in the Firestone Library of Princeton University.
